We’re excited to announce an upgrade to the design of the Draws Widget from Sporty. Here’s what’s new:

Display all competitions in one place 

You can now display the draw from multiple competitions and even multiple sports in a single widget view.  This feature is a game-changer!  It makes it easier than ever to keep players, parents, and fans updated.

Streamlined filters with clear headers 

The new widget makes it easier for people to use a filter to see just what they want. The new headers in the filter section clearly indicate what people can select, helping them quickly find the games they want to view. It’s intuitive and user-friendly, reducing the time spent searching for relevant fixtures. Even better, the widget remembers your filter selections so that next time you visit, you’ll see exactly what you need—no extra searching required.

A fresh, modern look with prominent logos 

Organisation logos deserve to stand out. The new modern design ensures that logos shine, bringing a modern and professional appearance to the draws widget while keeping the focus on upcoming games. 

Export the Alterations Report for better game tracking 

Administrators can now easily track game changes with the new alterations report. If a game is marked as “altered” by the competition manager, it will appear in this export, making it easier to stay on top of any last-minute changes to your schedule.

Match Centre access with more game details 

When people click on a fixture, they’ll see the Match Centre for more detailed information about the game, including line-ups, team selections, live scores, and points at the end of each quarter or half. It’s a great way to keep people informed and engaged. Additionally, if you prefer, you can still display the text “Match Centre” on your widget. This will open a dedicated URL, letting you share a live game feed to your social media.

You can now enter scores directly from the widget

People can score games from a Sporty scoring App. Now, you can also enter results directly through the SKED widget. This automatically updates back to the competition management system and is great for games that are not being live scored through the scoring App. 

What’s still the same? 

We’ve kept the things you love: 

• Live Scoring: when a home team starts scoring a game, the widget displays a blue flashing indicator to show that the game is live, then lets people follow the action live, point by point.

• Google Maps: click on a venue to open a Google Maps location link for easy navigation.

• Customisable Widget Design: Personalise the widget to match your organisation’s colours, ensuring it seamlessly fits into your website.
